Abstract
Vinylbenziodoxolones (VBXs) is an important electrophilic alkene synthon, however, the synthesis of cis-thiophenol-VBXs reagents from ethynylbenziodoxolones (EBXs) and thiophenols is still facing challenge. Herein, we firstly explored an efficient method for synthesis of cis-thiophenol-VBXs in excellent yield with excellent regio- and stereoselectivity from EBXs and thiophenols under temperature-controlled condition.
