Abstract

An analytical approach based on an approximate conformal transformation of the composite domain is developed in the present paper to tackle the title problem under steady state conditions. A numerical solution is also obtained by means of a finite element algorithm and the results are shown to be in excellent agreement with the predictions of the analytical solution. Apparently a rather limited amount of technical literature is available on this type of problem.
