Abstract

The heats of complex formation in the L-phenylalanine-copper(II) ion system in aqueous solution were determined calorimetrically at 288.15, 298.15, and 308.15 K for an ionic strength of 0.5 (KNO3 supporting electrolyte). The thermodynamic parameters of formation of phenylalaninatocopper(II) complexes were calculated for various temperatures.
