Abstract
The oscillations of gas pressure along the axis of an open tube near resonance are investigated. The temperature distribution of the gas along the axis in the open tube using a thermistor was obtained. An acoustothermal effect at the resonance frequency in the form of an irregular axial temperature distribution in the tube is detected.
