Abstract

Heat exchanger (HX) is one type of device that passing the fluid medium from one place to another place which were used in different industrial application like power production plant, shipping as well as bio chemical enterprises. The aim of paper revealed making shell & tube in heat exchanger by modeling Catia latest version software. Testing of these model objects will be analyzed by software of ANSYS 13. Scope of study is to analyze the temperature distribution & heat flux inside of shell and baffles. The three important materials (Copper, aluminum & steel 1010) are changed while doing the above tastings. Lastly, copper gives best heat transfer rate comparing with other two materials But while comparing economical wise steel was desired.
