Abstract

A simple method to determine intergranular critical fields in ceramic superconductors using differential microwave absorption measurements is reported. The use of the superconducting cluster size obtained from measured H C1J's in place of average grain size for the calculation of H c2J's seems to be better showing a very good agreement between calculated and determined ones. H c1J decreases almost linearly with (1−T/T c) while H c2J deviates from linearity near T c.
