Abstract

The magnetic properties of polycrystalline HgBa 2Ca 2Cu 2.9Re 0.1O y have been investigated. It was found that the behaviors of penetrating field H p and critical current J c are mainly controlled by the surface pinning at T ≥ 40 K and the bulk pinning at T ≤ 20 K, respectively. The irreversibility line exhibits a kink around 90K in regarding to the crossover from the 2D to 3D vortex regime.
