Abstract
Abstract The temperature, driving field amplitude and frequency dependence of hysteresis loops of triglycine sulfate doped with L-alanine has been examined in the neighborhood of the Curie temperature, Tc. The magnitude of the internal bias associated with L-alanine content shows a remarkable temperature dependence near Tc, decreasing by more than two orders of magnitude within ±1°C of Tc. A semiquantitative interpretation of this behavior in terms of the interaction between orientable (glycine) dipoles and fixed (L-alanine) dipoles is given
