Abstract

The temperature dependence of the amplitude α of the charge oscillation around 3d transition metal impurities in aluminum was measured by NMR method. This dependence is strongest in the case of AlMn, where it changes from T2 to T behaviour at about 300°K. The temperature dependence of the oscillation amplitudes as well as the dependence of α on impurity atomic number imply the change of the character of the virtual bound state at high temperatures.
