Abstract

Within the framework of the kinetic energy driven superconducting mechanism, the temperature dependence of the magnetic field penetration depth in the electron-doped cuprate superconductors is studied. It is shown that the magnetic field penetration depth shows a crossover from the linear temperature dependence at low temperatures to a nonlinear one at the extremely low temperatures, in qualitative agreement with the experimental results.
