Abstract

It was found that the temperature curve of a cigarette in static burning on the basis of mean temperatures deviated relatively far away from that of actual temperatures. In order to improve the accuracy, the data were pretreated by way of parallel displacement of the highest burning temperature and Fermat point respectively, and their results were compared in terms of the temperature curve of static burning, the temperature distribution surface in burning cone and the error analysis of interpolation results. The results showed that: the decrease of the highest static burning temperature in the mean temperature method was ameliorated by parallel displacement of the highest temperatures, the dispersion of temperature data(RSD=0.08)was improved by parallel displacement of Fermat point;the temperature distribution graph obtained by these two methods pretty well agreed with actual combustion status.Interpolation analysis results showed that the mean relative error was reduced from 15.40% to 13.00% and 9.86% by parallel displacement of the highest temperature shifting method and Fermat point, respectively.
