Abstract

During a survey of helminth parasites of amphibians and reptiles in Idaho, 294 digenetic trematodes were recovered from the intestinal tracts of several larval long-toed salamanders, Ambystoma macrodactylum, and one garter snake, Thamnophis sirtalis. The worms were assigned to the genus Telorchis Luhe, 1889; since they differ from other members of the genus, the name T. bonnerensis n. sp. is proposed for them.
