LERNER Counselor Maryland State Department of Education, Baltimore LEON L. LERNER first taught school in Prince George's County, Maryland, following his graduation from State Teachers College, Towson, Maryland. In 1942, after serving as interviewer with the U. S. Employment Service in Baltimore, he became Supervisor of Interviewers. He accepted his present position as counselor in the on-the-job-training division of the Maryland State Department of Education in July, 1946. Mr. Lerner is continuing study toward his doctorate in evening classes at the University of Maryland Graduate School after having received the M.A. degree from that University's College of Education in June, 1948.Search for more papers by this author LEON L.
