Abstract

DOI: 10.19251/rtnp/2020.12(25) The current epidemiological situation has caused many changes in all spheres of our lives. One of them is education, both for children and also for adults, who during their studies try not only to get an education and orientation for their future professional work, but also to extend their horizons and acquire abilities, necessary in life. Due to the epidemiological restrictions, education has been transferred to the Internet and direct contact with the teacher has been replaced by a virtual one, which makes interaction between teacher and learner more difficult. However, these are not our teachers’ first steps in education via the Internet. The following text presents an example of a videoconference that took place even before the pandemic. It is not typical teaching via an educational platform, because the students were gathered in one room, and only the connection was made via Skype. However, the online contact with the teacher resembles modern remote teaching methods. The following text illustrates how streetworking can be taught via the Internet based on a sample class given to a group of Swedish students. Currently, the only form of contact with street children for streetworkers is through social media and different communicators. Therefore, it can be said that the epidemiological situation has forced a change from street work to online. So maybe streetworkers can also be trained via the Internet. Confronted with the described example, the reader will be able to try to explain this doubt.
