Assistive technology can help students with special needs to actively participate in learning, including receiving materials, engaging in the learning process, and evaluation. Based on the literature review, the application of assistive technology in teaching Indonesian language to students with special needs will be effective if done through a systematic process. Starting from preparation, model, framework, implementation, and evaluation. Assistive technology provides accessibility for students, making it easier for them to acquire knowledge in the Indonesian language.
