Abstract
Inorganic CO_2 includes mantle-derived origin and metamorphic origin of marinecarbonate-bearing sedimentary rocks. Through-deep fault is the discharge path formantle-derived and magmatic gases, structural heat of compresso-shear fault provides en-ergy for carbonate rocks to produce CO_2; meanwhile, local high pore pressure causedby CO_2 concentration reduces the internal friction resistance of rocks and stimulatesor enhances tectonic action.
