Abstract
In this month's “Technology Tips,” Agida Manizade introduces readers to Macromedia Flash MX 2004, a development environment for advanced, robust, and powerful Internet applications. However, you can easily use Flash to produce freestanding, high-quality, animated applications for your students. In this month's tip, Manizade shares how to create a simple Flash animation. Flash MX 2004 is published by Macromedia, runs on MAC or PC, and allows users to create a variety of interactive applications. You can download a free demonstration version (thirty-day trial), or purchase a single license at www.macromedia.com/software/flash/. A Flash application can be executed on any computer that has the free Macromedia Flash Player (version 6 or higher), which is available at www.macromedia.com/downloads.
