Abstract
Abstract Date Presented 04/22/2023 This 3-year longitudinal descriptive study analyzed the effect of technology-assisted care through a smart home on cost of caregiving, and performance and satisfaction of specified tasks, for adults with developmental disabilities. Currently, independent living options for those with developmental disabilities are limited. This research on the effect of smart homes will advance the development of independent living options for adults with developmental disabilities.
