Abstract

E-procurement is becoming a source in supply chain among organizations to improve the service of delivery and reduce cost. However, not every organization has been successful in E-procurement implementation due to non technological readiness assessment at micro level. To address this, we have proposed a research model of technology readiness for E-procurement implementation. The paper highlights the technology readiness into IT infrastructure, IT expertise and IT compatibility. Based on this research model, 142 responses of manufacturing industries of Malaysia were collected using personally administered data and online survey approach. The results shown that technological readiness have a positive relationship with E-procurement implementation.
