Abstract

During a time when a pandemic has affected the entire world, the New Jersey Association of Mental Health and Addiction Agencies (NJAMHAA) wants its members to know they are in good hands with the assistance of the NJAMHAA Information Technology (IT) Project. More than 40 years ago, NJAMHAA was awarded a grant from the New Jersey Division of Mental Health and Addiction Services (DMHAS) to assist mental health providers with their technology purchases and to provide help‐desk services; little did we know that our services today would be more important than ever. This partnership continues to this day and may still be a unique model in this country whereby a behavioral health trade association helps support the technology infrastructure for its members.
