Abstract

Education for non-educated means education for individuals who have not had formal education or who are considered non-educated, and is often referred to as adult education or adult literacy programs. Most of the adult education programs across the globe are designed on three basic themes that are reading, writing, and numeracy skills. Such adult education approach is characterized by several drawbacks, and these limitations are hindering the attainment of the intended outcomes in adult education programs. This study is proposing technology inclusive adult education (TIAE) model for adult education. TIAE refers to educational programs for adults that intentionally incorporate technology as a fundamental part of the learning process, which includes online courses, digital resources, e-learning platforms, and other technological tools to make education more accessible and effective for adult learners.
