Abstract

Presentation part of ENISA's panel at the Computers, Privacy and Data Protection (CPDP) 2018 conference. The talk will focus on technologies for privacy, i.e., protections against online tracking and profiling The aim of the talk is to facilitate the ongoing discussion on privacy by design/default against the background of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the the proposal for a Regulation of the European Parliament and of the Council concerning the respect for private life and the protection of personal data in electronic communications and repealing Directive 2002/58/EC (Regulation on Privacy and Electronic Communications).
