Pratit će se razvoj broda i tehnologije s posebnim osvrtom na značajke modernih kontejnerskih brodova koji su mu omogućili da postane neizostavan dio globalno ekonomije. Statistički će se prikazati stanje svjetske kontejnerske flote, glavne kontejnerske luke te plovidbeni pravci.
