Abstract
This article deals with using operating system Linux for solution of problems on the field of technological control and measurement. Linux is developed by student Linus Torvalds in cooperation with programmers in the world by other operating system UNIX. Thanks to powerful tools for programmers and further convenient properties is Linux good to use in automatic control problems
