Technoheritage 2019, Technart 2019, AIC 47th Annual Meeting: Conservation in Mexico in Perspective with the World

Abstract

Technoheritage (España), Technart (Bélgica) y la reunión anual del American Institute for Conservation (AIC) son tres de los más grandes e importantes congresos internacionales de conservación y tecnología aplicada al patrimonio cultural, que se celebraron entre marzo y mayo de 2019. Durante esos congresos fue posible tener una noción de las investigaciones más novedosas de nuestra disciplina. Por ende, la presente reseña se centra en especificar las tendencias a escala internacional de esas líneas de investigación y, de forma paralela, en reflexionar sobre éstas y la formación en México en perspectiva con algunos de los países más desarrollados en la conservación del patrimonio cultural. ____ Three of the largest and most significant international congresses of conservation and applied technology for cultural heritage, Technoheritage (Spain), Technart (Belgium), and the annual meeting of the American Institute for Conservation (AIC), took place between March and May 2019. These congresses provided an insight into the latest research in the discipline. This review focuses on specifying the international trends and reflecting on those lines of research as well as viewing training in Mexico in perspective with some of the most developed countries in the conservation of cultural heritage.
