Plastics in Industry: Chemical Engineering Construction. Acalor (1948) Ltd. These materials are used for fabrications of all kinds, including tanks and tank linings, fume scrubbers, and ducting, pipes, valves, fans, etc., produced as standard factory articles, or applied on site, for the construction and protection of the many intricate forms required within the industry, such as scrubbing, washing, neutralisation, conveying, storing or mixing chemical fumes and liquids.
