Abstract

For improving efficiency, service and communication, Hunan Provincial Tobacco Company developed an ITIL(Information Technology Infrastructure Library)-based integrated management system for information security, operation and maintenance services by adopting SOA(Service-oriented Architecture) to meet the requirements of business and management. The system was composed of data collection layer, summary analysis layer and display layer and possessed four management functions including basic resources, business operation, operation and maintenance services, and information security. The automatic collection, analysis and advance warning of information security events were realized through management tracking and intelligent log analysis, which provided a basis for processing all kinds of events. The results of application showed that the developed system unified the dispatching of human resources for operation and maintenance services, the number of staffs needed for the services reduced from more than 60 to 11. Moreover, by real-timely monitoring business system and infrastructure, the system unified the management of information security and operation services and normalized the processing flow.
