Abstract

The requirements of high efficiency and, at the same time, high reliability of reactor plant operation made it urgent to solve a wide class of tasks to ensure NPPs safe operation. The operating experience of two-circuit NPPs shows that the main sources of increased radioactive aerosols concentration in the containment are leaky flange joints of the VVER-1000 reactor upper unit. Technical diagnostics is defined as a knowledge branch that investigates technical conditions of technical products and their manifestations. The obtaining estimates of the current and predicted technical condition in automatic mode requires a well-defined analytical representation of the function on the basis of which such automatic estimates could be obtained. The set of attributes (parameters) for determining or assessing the state of a given technical product is finite and fixed. Technical condition is always a function of the product's properties. It is confirmed that the product technical condition (TC) evaluation is some value of product's given properties function. The properties of products can be estimated from the results given by some kind of direct measurement. Therefore, for technical objects it seems appropriate to construct functions for automatic generation of technical condition's quantitative estimates in the form of some dependence on a priori specified specific structural parameters.
