Abstract
The IEEE Control Systems Society (CSS) Technical Committee on Systems with Uncertainty (TCSU) has 47 members from academia and industry. The TCSU's interests span a wide range of systems with many different properties (continuous and discrete, linear and nonlinear) that have unknown dynamics and/or unknown parameters. When dealing with uncertain systems, the goals are typically to perform analysis and synthesis tasks for a family of admissible values of the uncertainty to both determine various possible behaviors of the system and design robust control strategies. TCSU aims to develop theory and application tools (software) for the analysis and synthesis of systems with uncertainty and provide researchers working in this area with a network of resources, events, and contacts.
