From approximately April 1970 to March 1974, the United States' Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) conducted surveillance on the American radical science activist organization Science for the People (SftP). The essay also outlines possibilities for further use of declassified FBI documents on SftP in courses on science activism, 1960s-era social movements, the FBI, policing, and state surveillance.
