Abstract
The monthly feature Teaching Practicing provides an opportunity for social scientists and other practitioners to exchange ideas concerning how to deal with particular methodological, theoretical or ethical concerns, since we have much to learn from each other's successes and failures, both obvious and subtle. In this issue the researchers, service staff and collaborators working as part of the Hispanic Health Council have analyzed and reported on their research and service efforts with the growing Hispanic population of Connecticut and other nearby parts of New England. The practitioner/providers/authors are candid concerning the methodological, ethical, and practical problems they encounter in their daily work.
