Abstract
A great deal has been said and written in recent years about shortcomings in the training of students of teacher training institutes for work in schools. The heads of schools or public education boards usually point out that while having a more or less sound theoretical grounding in their specialty and a sufficient command of the elements of teaching methods, young teachers are inadequately prepared for work as a grade master, are not familiar with Young Pioneer activities and have an inadequate knowledge of various kinds of extracurricular studies and recreation.
