Abstract

The study determines the attributes of the teacher and their teaching performance from the students, supervisor, and self-perspective. The respondents are faculty members of Central Luzon State University (CLSU), Science City of Munoz, Philippines. One hundred forty (140) full-time faculty members whose teaching performance ratings are complete in the records of the CLSU- Testing and Evaluation Center (CTEC) from SY 2012 to SY 2016. With the mean age of 46 years old, the sample group is relatively considered as seasoned matured - teachers. As to gender, dominance is not the profile of the sample for the number of males is almost the same as that of their female counterparts, with 48.2 percent and 51.8 percent respectively. The majority of the faculty members under study were married (133 0r 78.2%). As a whole, 76.9 percent of the faculty members met the minimum requirements being required from a college teacher as to educational qualification, that is, master's degree graduates. Meantime, with a mean average of 21 years, the faculty members of the study can be said as loyal and dedicated to the profession with the long years of stay in the service. Most of the sample faculty members have the academic rank of Associate Professor.
