Abstract
Front Cover: Article 2200737 by Dennis W. Smith, Jr. and co-workers highlights the versatile and scalable electrophilic synthesis of a forgotten semi-fluorinated polyaryl ether from diphenyl ether and hexafluoroacetone hydrate catalyzed by triflic acid. Despite the presence of 6F linkages, anomalous crystallinity is observed for the very first time for this polymer. This interfacial electrophilic aromatic polymerization is applicable to other activated aromatics.
