Abstract

A mode of teaching the practice of automation and control engineering is covered in this paper with specific reference to a new graduate module introduced to fill the gap in the Automation and Control specialization at the National University of Singapore. The motivation, design of course structure and contents, and the continual assessments in this module will be elaborated in the paper with a glimpse into the relevance of the module to industrial practitioners from the feedback received.
