The South African Journal of Information Management explores the latest developments and trends in information and knowledge management to offer research that can be used to further the application of sound information and knowledge management practice.

Based on the overview presented in the introduction above, the aims of this elective course in Information Economics are to introduce the students to information as an economic good, the role of information in a national economy, the pricing and packaging of information goods, the economics of intellectual property, and the exchange of information to facilitate relationships between organizations in an information economy.
