Abstract

The article deals with the peculiarities of teaching indefinite pronouns and adverbs in the study of Russian as a foreign language. The relevance of the paper is determined by the status of the category of certainty / uncertainty in modern Russian, which is ambiguous, by contrast with other European languages, in which the system of articles is its marker. It is reported that in Russian, the manifestations of this category at the lexical level are embodied in the use of a number of indefinite pronouns and adverbs, the rules for the use of which even native speakers do not have a clear idea, which is confirmed by an associative experiment conducted as part of the study. The article shows that the material related to semantization, grammatical and stylistic nuances of the use of indefinite pronouns and adverbs in contexts when teaching Russian as a foreign language is considered fragmentarily. This makes communication difficult. This work is an attempt to develop a level-by-level system for teaching foreigners indefinite pronouns and adverbs.
