I am not sure who first said this, but I have certainly been uttering this phrase more now than ever as I try to make sense of what we have collectively been through as teachers specifically and in society generally. As we approach the two-year mark of living in COVID World, I would be remiss if my first message to you was not about how proud I am of all of us. I am proud of those who have stuck it out in the face of what seems to be insurmountable odds. There have been many days when I sat in the car staring at the building where I have been teaching for the past 23 years convincing myself that today will be better.
