Abstract
Abstract This paper introduces the computer workstations within the School of Electronic System Engineering at the Polytechnic of Central London and describes the structured initial teaching exercises introduced at the beginning of the 3-year enhanced degree courses in Electronic Engineering and in Control and Computer Engineering. A brief overview of the development of the use of computer workstations in engineering and industrial design is also presented.
