Abstract

Objective: This lesson/activity serves to teach students about elocution as part of our disciplinary history and ways that our history can fund current communicative practices. Courses: Introductory Hybrid Course, Survey of Communication Studies, Public Speaking, Rhetorical Theory, Rhetorical Criticism, Introduction to Performance Studies, Oral Interpretation.
