Abstract

The authors detail the five-course electrical engineering sequence for nonengineering majors at the US Military Academy. The program philosophy, course descriptions, and sequence of presentation are discussed. Three design projects, a digital clock, an audio spectral display unit, and an AM radio, close the loop between electronic theory and practical application and provide the students with motivational, hands-on experiences. Student comments are reviewed and future enhancements for the five-course sequence are presented. >
