Abstract

Disruptive behavior is a bad behavior that is shown by the students during following the teaching learning process. The objective of the research is to find out the teachers’ strategy in facing students’ disruptive behavior at primary school. The population of this research is the teachers at SDN 33 Kalukulajuk and took two participants as sample. In the determining those samples, the researcher used purposive sampling technique. The method of this research is descriptive method. Video record and observation are used as instruments of this research. The result shows that the teacher in class I just used direct instruction, while the teacher in class III used direct and interactive instruction. The researcher concludes that from five of teachers’ strategy, there were two strategies used by the teachers in facing their students’ disruptive behavior namely direct and interactive instruction.
