TEACHERS’ PERCEPTION OF IMPLEMENTING BLENDED LEARNING AT THE UNIVERSITY LEVEL

 In higher education institutions, internet accessibility, availability, and connectivity are helping teachers to adopt the latest pedagogical content and technological knowledge. Blended learning is one of the latest methods in the teaching-learning process. This study was conducted on university-level teachers in Islamabad, Pakistan. The key purpose of the study was to explore teachers’ perceptions of adopting blended learning at the university level. For the assessment of the perception of teachers about blended learning, we have used stratified random sampling to select participants.  A study of 51 teachers in blended learning found that faculty are prepared to implement the approach, but issues like the internet, network, and electricity must be resolved before implementation. Higher education institutions must utilize blended learning and IT components to improve personalized learning and student professional development.
