Abstract
Background: Teacher’s job satisfaction had the effect for teacher job quality and productivity. The learning environment has contributed to teacher’s job satisfaction. The objectives of this study are to analyze teacher’s job satisfaction of elementary school on excellence school and low achievement school in urban and suburban areas in Banjarmasin, to analyze the learning environment of elementary school on excellence school and low achievement school in urban and suburban in Banjarmasin, and to analyze the relation between learning environment and teacher’s job satisfaction.

Job satisfaction reflects happiness or positive emotions originated from one’s work experience, in which individual’s happiness in working will impact the individual tasks positively [1]
The result of stepwise regression analysis showed that the learning environment contributes to teacher’s job satisfaction
The learning environment attributes such as positive teacher-student relationships and support from school management have the positive effect on teacher’s job satisfaction [17]
