Abstract

Transradial coronary intervention (TRI) introduces trauma to the radial artery (RA), possibly influencing quality as a bypass conduit or arteriovenous fistula for hemodialysis. Distal radial access at the anatomic snuffbox may reduce the chance of RA occlusion at the site of the distal forearm.
