Abstract

The main part of "Tazkirayi Qayyumiy" consists of materials related to the literary environment of Kokand. Literary sources related to this literary environment existed even before Polatjon Qayyumi. The most famous and largest of them is "Majmuai Shoironi Umarkhani". However, it should be noted that Polatjon was the first to create a collection of tazkiratakhlit (anthological) materials on the Kokand literary environment, scientific hypotheses, analytical observations, poets and their works. And this work is this "History of Khokand and its literature" and "Tazkirai Qayyumi" based on it.The author seeks to shed light on the darkest points of the environment, to shed light on obscure and obscure issues, and to bring about scientific clarity and new insights. In many ways, it can handle such a responsible and complex task. Polatjon's knowledge of the history of literature, his thorough knowledge of the arts, his knowledge of sources, and his literary skills were sufficient. At the same time, the author created "Shajarai turk", "Muntahab-ut-tavorix", "Ansob-us-salotin va tavo-rix-ul-havoqin", "Tarihi Shohruhiy", "Majmuat-ush-shuaro". Historical and literary sources such as "Tuhfat-ul-ahbob fi tazkirat-ul-ashob", "Tuhfat-ul-ashob", "Tazkirai Sultani", "History of Uzbekistan", "Literary Chrestomathy" and others unknown to us made effective use of many manuscripts. Of course, the life experience of P. Qayyumi, who knew the new and the old perfectly, helped him to create a real and magnificent canvas about the literary environment.
