Abstract
The monotypic entomogenous genus Didymobotryopsis (Hyphomycetes) is considered to be synonymous with Hirsutella. The new combination H. parasitica (Hennings) Samson & Evans is proposed. A similar taxon on a coleopteran host, which produces synnemata with characteristic undulate conidiogenous cells, is named as H. dendritica sp. nov. Both species are described and illustrated
