Abstract

We investigate vacuum cosmologies with quasiregular singularities, in particular Taub-NUT, three-torus flat Kasner, and Moncrief's spatially inhomogeneous spacetimes. In each model the metric and topology, null geodesics, and massless scalar test fields show similar structure near a null hypersurface containing the singularity and its associated Cauchy horizons.
