Abstract

Abstract: Improving the quality of guidance and counseling services in the educational unit requires the support of other parties. Process guidance and supervision right, and carried out by competent and professional personnel are needed to support the quality of counseling services performed by teachers BK. BK control activities include activities supervisor, educator, and motivator. The pattern of structured supervision, honest, and based on the analysis of the problems the ministry guidance and counseling in schools, will be able to give a good contribution to the improvement, evaluation, and improvement of guidance and counseling services, as well as the professionalism of teachers BK as a service provider.Keyword: guidance, counseling, supervision, management

Persoalan yang terjadi secara global

Tri Anjar (dalam hal pengawasan) tersebut di atas juga merambah ke dalam pengawasan bidang Bimbingan dan Konseling. Kependidikan pada Tahun 2008 terhadap para pengawas di suatu kabupaten menunjukkan bahwa para pengawas memiliki kelemahan dalam kompetensi supervisi akademik, evaluasi pendidikan, dan penelitian dan pengembangan. Sosialisasi dan pelatihan yang selama ini biasa dilaksanakan dipandang kurang memadai untuk menjangkau keseluruhan pengawas dalam waktu yang relatif singkat. Karena terbatasnya waktu maka intensitas dan kedalaman penguasaan materi kurang dapat dicapai dengan kedua strategi ini. Mencermati persoalan tersebut di atas, maka penulis berusaha untuk menyajikan beberapa paparan mengenai konsep pengawas dan kepengawasan pendidikan utamanya pada bidang. Pembahasan yang akan disajikan meliputi komponen: a) Ketentuan tentang pengawas, b) Konsep. 24 Pengawas Bimbingan dan Konseling pengawas Bimbingan dan Konseling, c) Tugas dan tanggung jawab pengawas Bimbingan dan Konseling, d) Tujuan pengawas
