Abstract

Original buildings in historical urban environments that have witnessed history are one of our most important cultural heritages. These structures are an important tool that transfers historical information to the next generation. In this study, historical mosque gardens are discussed within the scope of historical environmental renewal works. Literature research about Muratpaşa Mosque, which is handled in this context, and field and field observations were carried out and its current situation was analyzed. Within the scope of environmental renewal, the landscape project covering the historical building environment, reinforcement elements, plant materials were evaluated and suggestions were made.
